About Kaizen Wellness

Kaizen Wellness is a registered brand created by Dr. Gloriana Gurdián Guardia.

We offer personalized medical consultations focused on the safe and responsible prescription of medical cannabis, strictly following current legal regulations in Costa Rica.

Bookings and Payments

To book a consultation, a 50% advance payment of the total consultation fee is required.

The remaining 50% must be completed before the end of the session in order to receive the medical prescription and any additional materials, if applicable.

Once the payment is confirmed, you will automatically receive a confirmation and a link for your appointment.

Cancellations and Rescheduling

The following policies apply to the cancellation or rescheduling of booked consultations:

Cancellation with more than 24 hours’ notice: Full refund or free rescheduling of the appointment.
Cancellation with less than 24 hours’ notice: No refund applies, but you may reschedule your appointment once at no additional cost.
No-show without prior notice: The consultation will be considered completed, and no refunds of any kind will apply.

By using our service, you agree to these clearly stated conditions.

Confidentiality and Privacy

All consultations are strictly governed by medical and professional confidentiality. All personal and medical information is handled confidentially and in full compliance with current Costa Rican laws on privacy and data protection.

Kaizen Wellness uses secure technologies to store and protect your personal and clinical information.

Use of Medical Cannabis and Disclaimer

Medical cannabis has been a legitimate therapeutic alternative under Costa Rican law since July 2025.

Its prescription is exclusively authorized for licensed physicians, and its use must strictly follow medical indications.

Kaizen Wellness and Dr. Gloriana Gurdián are not responsible for any misuse or noncompliance by the patient regarding dosage, instructions, or recommendations provided during the medical consultation.

The patient expressly acknowledges having received clear information about possible side effects associated with medical cannabis (such as drowsiness, dizziness, or increased appetite) and assumes personal responsibility for reporting any changes in their health status after beginning treatment.

Minors

We do not provide consultations or prescribe medical cannabis to minors (under 18 years of age). Medical consultations are exclusively available to legally responsible adults.

Limitation of Liability

Kaizen Wellness is not responsible for the content or accuracy of information provided by external websites regarding medical cannabis or related products. Our information is educational and professional in nature but should never replace a personalized medical consultation.

Intellectual Property Rights

All content on this website (texts, photographs, videos, graphics, and design) is the exclusive property of Kaizen Wellness and Dr. Gloriana Gurdián Guardia, and is protected under Costa Rican law. Partial or total reproduction without express authorization is strictly prohibited.

Update of Terms and Conditions
